Beginning in 1994 the fundraising and awareness began for life altering genetic disorders affecting over half a million children in ???????? .
Jeans for genes day is a fundraising day for children with genetic conditions, on jeans for genes day schools and workplaces allow staff to promote this fundraising scheme by wearing jeans and casual wear instead of normal uniforms and formal wear. by wearing your own jeans you can participate in fundraising or just make a donation to this charity.
Money that is for this event is distributed in an annual grant program that provides funds to groups and organizations that support children with genetic disorders.
This money also goes towards developing and resources in schools to encourage inclusion and awareness of children with genetic disorders.

This day usually happens any time between September 13 to September 25 depending on the year.
