The name originates from the celebrational year in which we were established in 1962 and also takes in the famous road name where our shop and first factory is still situated in, 237 Royal College St, Camden Town. The name Harrington came from a character called Rodney Harrington in a TV series called Peyton Place. In fact the Harrington jacket was actually a golfing jacket that was then picked up by many different sub cultures and fashions. As a result making this jacket so popular. Not only are our Combat Harrington’s amazing quality, within each piece you buy decades of history. For example there is also a story of Thommo from the band (Madness)  pinching one from our shop Ben Nevis Clothing, he eventually came back and paid for it due to Ben Nevis Clothing’s granddad chasing him all the way to Archway.
