This is a great time of year, Easter symbolizes many positive notions for most. One being the start of better weather, another is the Christian festival commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead which in the New Testament was written that it had occurred on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans in 30AD. This time brings hope and joy to the Christians all across the world.

This legend was born when German immigrants in the 1700’s in Pennsylvania who brought over their tradition of egg laying from the old country and so the legend has it that the bunny rabbit would lay colourful eggs as gifts for children, this legend spread across all of America and boom the Easter Bunny was born. Eventually going international and as the years went on the celebrations became more elaborate. Companies such as Cadbury’s made their first chocolate Easter egg in 1875 and ever since it’s become a tradition to buy kids and loved ones a chocolate egg.
