On this day we’re all British for 24 hours. Within that English flag of the red and white cross holds a symbol of legends and the national identity of pride,
The legend of St George and the dragon describes the Saint taming & slaying a dragon that brought hell to us with the demands of human sacrifice.
St George’s Day celebrates the anniversary of his death in 303AD. This day is a time to be patriotic with a chance to fly the English flag literally and figuratively speaking. It shows no matter how bad things get you can be your own hero and bring pride from the depths of your soul. The patron St of England has captured the imaginations of the British public ever since the Crusades and the Hundred Years War.
This is England, never forget it. This celebration is in the same league as Christmas with St George being a symbol of British strength & hope throughout the years of past into the future..
