Space can be mind-boggling at times so this blog is a celebration of everything space.
Did we or didn’t we has been a debate for over 50 years with conspiracy theories galore against landing on the moon. One of the biggest arguments is why haven’t we been back especially with our current technology being so advanced and the population of the wealthiest people ever substantially increasing.
What ever your beliefs space week is a celebration from more than 100 countries, with hundreds of education related activities for teachers and students with NASAs education division who create and design fun formal and informal ways of inspiring knowledge with science, technology, engineering and mathematics or STEM fields. Using this full week of knowledge can help space and sustainability and relates to how humanity uses space and the orbital area surrounding Earth. As of last year there were 6542 satellites listed currently in orbit by the UN. Because of this there must be protocols for sustainability within space to ensure debris can be cleaned up and not cause damage for future missions whilst creating a safer plant for the future humanity. This includes measuring climate change, identifying pollution on land and sea, supporting agriculture and an endless list of the 169 targets that the 17 UN sustainable development goals, 65 directly benefit through earths observation satellites and related technologies.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, alpha industries teamed up with pintrill To create a flight inspired jacket by the crew missioned to the moon in 1969. ( OR DID THEY) And the current space mission to Mars and outer space.
